Liasa Kian LPC-Associate Round Rock

Humans possess an extraordinary capacity for change by shifting how we think about the world and how we show up in it. Yet change often feels difficult when we’re trapped by outdated belief systems formed in childhood or lack clarity about what we want to transform. I help facilitate meaningful change by offering fresh perspectives and providing practical tools for self-reflection. Together, we’ll cultivate deeper self-understanding.

A big part of my work involves helping you get curious about the different ‘parts’ of yourself — those inner voices or patterns that sometimes seem to work against you. Drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS), we’ll explore these parts with compassion rather than judgment, building a more peaceful and connected relationship with yourself from the inside out.

I also specialize in helping individuals develop awareness of their nervous system’s responses to the world around them. Guided by Polyvagal Theory, we’ll explore how your body’s built-in safety system shapes the way you feel, relate, and react day to day. When we reconnect with the body, we gain crucial insights into our responses to people, places, and experiences — and that embodied awareness becomes the foundation for lasting change.

I warmly welcome all clients and have a particular passion for supporting women through the many seasons of life. Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, exploring your identity, or finding your footing in pregnancy, motherhood, or parenting, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

As your therapist, I see myself as a collaborator. We’ll tailor our work specifically to you, then evaluate together what resonates and what needs adjustment. Whatever brings you here, I’m glad you’re considering taking this step.
