Growing up today comes with unique pressures. From academic stress and social challenges to anxiety, grief, trauma, and family changes, children and teens often carry more than they know how to express. At Calm Haven Mental Health, we provide a safe, supportive space for children and adolescents ages 5 and up to explore their emotions, build coping skills, and develop confidence in who they are becoming.

We support young clients experiencing anxiety, behavioral challenges, trauma, grief, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions. Using developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed approaches—including cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness skills, and when appropriate, modalities such as EMDR—we help children and teens process difficult experiences in ways that feel safe and empowering.

We also believe parents and caregivers are essential partners in the healing process. When appropriate, we provide guidance and practical tools to help families create consistency, understanding, and emotional safety at home.

Whether your child is struggling quietly or their challenges feel more visible, you don’t have to navigate it alone. We’re here to help your child feel understood, supported, and capable of growth.
